Welcome To KARTAR AASRA

Kartar Aasra Trust is a registered NGO, running on a “Non-Profit Basis”. We manage a home dedicated to poor children and elderly persons, Irrespective of their religion or caste. We are not part of any religious or political organization. Celebrate a Birthday Party or any Special Event with the Kartar Aasra family- total 55 members- (children ages 5 to 15 years / the aged elders & sewadars).

What We Focus On

Unprivileged Children:

Children:

We help 25 Children from the neighbouring slums. Ages 5 to 15 years.
We organise teachers for the children to learn Languages such as English, Hindi & Punjabi. Subjects such as Maths, Social studies, Sciences.
Social Skills:
Singing, painting, music & Dancing.
Vocational skills such as Computers, Stitching, tailoring etc.
We collect clothes and distribute them to the children.
We organise events for the children to showcase their Social skills.
We provide them food and other amenities.
We provide them study material in form of Stationary, books, school bags etc.

The Vocational Center at Kartar Aasra. The Center is for teaching poor children. The Sessions include English/Hindi/Maths/Science & Computers.

Home For The Elderly And Facilities Provided

Elders

We provide Shelter to Elderly Persons.
We provide them food and other amenities.
We provide them medical assistance in the form of medicine and Healthcare.
We organise events and celebrations on auspicious days such as Holi, Diwali, Lohri etc.
We collect and distribute used clothes to our elders and Sewadhars.
A recreation hall is provided for the Elderly. Here they read newspapers & Magazines. They play indoor games such as carroms, cards. Movies are occasionally screened.
A 6 passenger lift has been installed for the Elderly staying on the first floor.
