What We Focus On
Unprivileged Children:
Children:
- We help 25 Children from the neighbouring slums. Ages 5 to 15 years.
- We organise teachers for the children to learn Languages such as English, Hindi & Punjabi. Subjects such as Maths, Social studies, Sciences.
Social Skills:
Singing, painting, music & Dancing.
Vocational skills such as Computers, Stitching, tailoring etc. - We collect clothes and distribute them to the children.
- We organise events for the children to showcase their Social skills.
- We provide them food and other amenities.
- We provide them study material in form of Stationary, books, school bags etc.
The Vocational Center at Kartar Aasra. The Center is for teaching poor children. The Sessions include English/Hindi/Maths/Science & Computers.
Home For The Elderly And Facilities Provided
Elders
- We provide Shelter to Elderly Persons.
- We provide them food and other amenities.
- We provide them medical assistance in the form of medicine and Healthcare.
- We organise events and celebrations on auspicious days such as Holi, Diwali, Lohri etc.
- We collect and distribute used clothes to our elders and Sewadhars.
- A recreation hall is provided for the Elderly. Here they read newspapers & Magazines. They play indoor games such as carroms, cards. Movies are occasionally screened.
- A 6 passenger lift has been installed for the Elderly staying on the first floor.
